We perform many types of soft tissue surgeries at our hospital. Soft tissue surgeries are those that are not associated with bone. It is a large part of our day-to-day duty as veterinarians and it can provide many benefits to pets. The following list includes some but not all of the surgeries we are ready to perform: emergency repairs, sterilization procedures (spays and neuters), gastrointestinal, ocular (various), oral (various), mass removals, caesarean sections, etc.
Please note: Cassells Animal Hospital is a proud supporter of the anti-declaw movement and we will no longer perform declaws in cats unless medically indicated. Instead, we offer complimentary nail trims to all of our regular cat patients (“regular patients” = has been seen in the last year for a complete physical exam).
Is your pet scheduled to have surgery with us soon? We know that surgery can be a stressful time for both owner and pet.
Visit our What to Expect – Surgery page and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes. We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to keep your pet comfortable and safe when in our care.
